Abstract:

This case study explores the implementation of Business Intelligence at the university aimed at improving student performance and refining curriculum quality. In an era of data-driven education, the university utilized Business Intelligence platforms to aggregate, visualize, and analyze extensive datasets related to student behaviors, academic outcomes, and demographic factors. The findings revealed alarming dropout and failure rates, particularly in the foundational courses like calculus and chemistry, prompting targeted investigations into instructional methods and student engagement. By leveraging learning analytics, the university identified high-risk students and courses, subsequently redesigning curricula to incorporate interactive elements such as flipped classrooms and adaptive learning technologies.
