Abstract:
The ability to argue is one of the most important abilities possessed by learners. This is because the ability to argue is widely regarded as important, because it supports the intelligence of students both in class and in their daily lives. However, the ability of students to argue in learning activities and in everyday life is still considered low, so that students become passive in learning. The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to express opinions on solar system material using Slido learning media for students in Class VII-1 SMPN 3 Candi. This research used the classroom action research method. The data from the research were then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively in the form of descriptions using words. Based on the results of research by applying Slido learning media to science learning in school solar system material, it can be concluded that the application of Slido learning media can improve the ability to argue students on solar system material in Class VII-1 SMPN 3 Candi.
